Hello everyone,
Elisha here. So by now you may know that Zebro is on hiatus due to New York City and Los Angeles being too far away from each other. However, some of us Los Angeles folk have started a new show/group called “Your Girlfriend.” It’s pretty cool we think. We’re making lots of new videos that you can find on our website and we have a live show at the Art/Works Theatre in Hollywood on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month (except in July, when it’s the 1st and 4th Wednesday). Next live show is on July 23rd. You should totes be there.

A number of us were at Comic Con. Out of a sea of 150,000 people, a man who goes by the name of Khail Anonymous stopped us and said he enjoyed our videos. He then took a picture and virtually sent it our way (not right then because he is not a wizard). He makes his own internet videos, and told us to check them out.

It is great to know that those who watch and comment on our videos exist somewhere out in the real world. For a while we thought you were all part of our subconsciousness (mostly because we call ourselves “gay” just as much as you do).

Secretly we hope all of our viewers have crazy awesome orange hair.

The Young Republic is a great band. They may be young college lads, but they are one of our favorite professional bands period. They recently signed to UK’s End of the Road Records and finished a June tour of Britain.

On top of all of that, Daniel directed their amazing first music video! So many exciting things from exciting friends!

We could take the time to describe the music video, but we think it’s better if you just watch it. Like now. And also buy TYR’s shit on ITunes.

Some folks have been a wondering where the somewhat-regularly-produced new Zebro videos have gone. Well, they are around, but we can’t show them to you just yet. It’s a long story. But here are the details we can tell you:

1. A number of us were hired this summer to work for a major television and movie studio to produce comedy shorts with a few other non-Zebro-but-still-funny comedy friends.

2. Because we are working for said company, the videos we are making are not official “Zebro” shorts but they are still funny we swear.

3. Until they are made public, we can’t show them to you but we promise when/if they go public, we’ll post a link.

4. We still have THREE new Zebro shorts coming through the pipeline but have been so busy we haven’t been able to put the finishing touches on them yet. We promise we are working on them and they will be release sometime soon.

5. We’ve attached some pictorials of our time in LA thufar.
